Coach Cheri

Coach Cheri is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach, and is also a labor and postpartum doula.

She specializes in helping moms regain core strength and stability after pregnancy and birth. She also recognizes how important it is for new parents to find time to nurture their own physical and mental health.

In her classes, Cheri creates a compassionate space where you will feel welcome regardless of your past fitness experience. Her expert guidance ensures that every workout is personalized to meet your unique needs and to support your journey to a stronger core and pelvic floor. She also prioritizes teaching you about core function, so you can apply what you learn in class to your daily life.

 Frequently Asked Questions

When is it safe to return to working out?

Ask your doctor for their specific recommendations, but our program is generally appropriate starting at 4-6 weeks postpartum.

I haven't worked out before/during pregnancy, is this still for me?

Even more reason to start now! Our workouts are tailored to each mom. We can modify appropriately depending on your fitness level and where you are in your postpartum journey.

Do I need Fitness Experience?

No experience needed! We will teach you everything you need to know to safely workout each class!

Can my child come to class?

Yes! This is designed as a "Mommy and Me" class where your little one can hang out with you while you workout.

Do I HAVE to bring my child?

Craving some personal time? You can absolutely come solo!

When are classes held?

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:50 am. Classes are 60 minutes long. Each 6-week session includes 12 classes.

What is the investment?

The cost for attending 2x per week for 6 weeks is $239.

What is the baby age range?

Babies are usually anywhere from 4-8 weeks to 8 months for this program. Contact us if your baby is out of this range. Babies who are not yet crawling / mobile are the easiest, but strollers or bouncers are great options for containing older babies.

What if my child is upset during class?

That's the beauty of an all-Moms class; we understand blowouts happen, children need to be fed, or held, or talked to. Tend to your little one and hop right back into the workout! Coach Cheri will also jump in to help as much as she can!

What happens after the session?

After the session ends, we have a number of options: doing another Dumbbells and Diapers session, starting 1-on-1 personal training, joining a small group, or joining our large group classes.
